Call to Worship:
One: We greet this new day with joy and thanksgiving.
All: With old hurts and fresh hopes, we seek God’s comfort and strength.
One: We welcome each other, as partners in the risen Christ.
All: With old friends and new faces, we celebrate God’s abundant grace.
One: We come to receive God’s eternal promise:
All: We are loved, we are saved, we live anew.

Opening Prayer:
Merciful God, generous Christ, sustaining Spirit: be with us now as we celebrate your presence in our lives. As the creek nourishes your creation, drench us with your overflowing love. As the harbour gives shelter from the wind and the night, protect us in this turbulent world. As the lighthouse shines out, guiding the way, may your love be a beacon in our hearts. Amen.

Closing Prayer:
God of the here and now, be with us. God of fresh starts and sunrises, guide us forward. God of thunderstorms and rainbows, hold us close. God of today and tomorrow, renew us with your love. Amen.
