Call to Worship
One: We greet this day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad.
All: We come in hope and longing, in faith and thanksgiving.
One: In this season of thankfulness, we recognise God’s loving presence.
All: We come to worship and praise, to pray and be renewed.
One: In our time together, we affirm the immensity of God’s grace.
All: As we hear Your word, Lord, guide our hearts and direct our thoughts.

Opening prayer
We come this day with much to be grateful for, yet too often we only see what we do not have. Caring God: You hear our hopes, You see our fears; inspire us to turn our hearts to Your way. Compassionate Lord: You know our desires and our setbacks; strengthen us to follow Your example. Sustaining Spirit: bring us into Your presence and fill us with Your empowering love. Remind us that You are with us, now and evermore. Amen.

Offering prayer
Generous God, from whom all our blessings are given, all our help granted. We contribute these gifts in grateful prayer for Your abundance, and in hopeful prayer for the world, Your creation. Use our gifts, our time and energy, our talents and efforts, and the offering we make today to comfort and heal, to nurture and cherish, and to bring Your light and love into the world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Benediction
Fill us Lord with gratitude and strength, with hope and joy. In our troubles, hold us close to receive your comfort. Grant each one of us the confidence of your everlasting love and mercy. Amen.
